2014
I created my Facebook profile. I was the last one to onboard among my friends.
Then I spent my parents' money on Facebook Ads in the hope of selling some t-shirts.
It worked. (Beginners luck, I guess)
Then, I went all in on print-on-demand t-shirts and...
FAILED MISERABLY!
Even though, I failed I knew that online marketing is my path.
I worked as a freelancer on many international projects.
I created a couple online courses with about my experiences.
I had around 30K students on Udemy, Skillshare and other e-learning sites.
2018
I opened my own marketing agency with goal of helping local small businesses in Romania.
I saw an opportunity as Instagram, Facebook Ads
were quite new channels for these businesses at that time in my region.
The biggest mistake I made that year was to only focus in local & national projects!
I totally shut down my international reach. I focused solely on local clients.
(*note self: stupid kid)
NOW
I still run the agency but I'm less involved in the daily operations.
I help with strategy and management.
I get a lot of queries about Facebook Ads both online and offline.
I help where I can but I cannot help everyone as my time is limited.
So, I launched the Weekly Ad Chronicle (WAC) so I can help people
who want learn about paid media, more specifically Facebook Ads.
